Anyone can take length off. The Signature Cut is about what stays — the shape, the balance, the way it sits when you roll out of bed on day four. This is the appointment Studio K is built around: a private one-chair studio in Guelph's south end where, for the length of your visit, yours is the only head that matters.
It starts with a real consult, not a nod and a guard number. Arron reads your growth pattern, your face shape and your routine, then builds a cut you can actually manage between visits. When the work is done: hot towel, style, and a quick word on keeping it looking like it did in the chair. Book the chair when you're ready.

What happens in the chair
Consult first. Photos welcome — if you've seen the look, show it. Then the work: clipper and scissor, cross-checked from every angle, edges cleaned, neckline squared to suit your growth. The finish is where it separates — a hot towel to settle the skin, then product and a proper style so you walk out camera-ready, not shower-bound. Not sure what to ask for? This guide helps, but honestly, that's what the consult is for.
Who it's for
Every head that sits in the chair. Crops, crew cuts, side parts, longer scissor work, tight tapers — the Signature Cut isn't one style, it's one standard applied to whatever suits you. Straight, wavy, curly or coiled, your hair gets read and cut accordingly. If face shape is the question, start with the face-shape guide and bring your thoughts to the consult. Want the sides taken to skin? That's the Skin Fade.
How to prep
Come with your hair how you normally wear it — that tells Arron more than any description. Clean and dry is ideal. Save a photo or two if you have a direction in mind, and be straight about your routine: if you'll never blow-dry, say so, and the cut gets built to air-dry well. The studio is appointment-only, so lock your slot through the booking form and Arron will confirm by text.
Aftercare
A good cut should look better on day three than day one, once it settles. Wash like you normally do, use whatever product got recommended at the finish — a little goes further than you think — and keep your own trimmers away from the neckline. Most guys sit in the three-to-five week window before the shape starts to soften. When it does, you know where the chair is.
